Well, yesterday was my first whole day back home!
So after eating breakfast,I got ready to head outside to clean the stall (which I was not looking foreword too),
I first walked Peak empty(there was a small ice block in it) all the way back to the house cause the hose/pump in the barn froze,so I lugged the whole 5 gallon bucket of water back to the barn (while spilling a little in my rubber boot). So I gave him his water and walked outside the barn to un-bury the wheelbarrow while doing,so I heard the water bucket dump.....
So I went investigate. There was water in the stall and outside. "Great,I thought its like 30 degrees and it's going to freeze!"
I went back outside and unburied the wheelbarrow and started cleaning the stall!
I was like shoveling coal (the manure was pretty much frozen)..okay moving on..
Anyway I had a really hard time getting the wheelbarrow to the manure pile. Our yard gets really wet,so after I packed the snow it got wet and turned in to slush! My wheelbarrow was heavily loaded,so when I was lugging the second huge load my dad yelled from the house to try turning the wheelbarrow around try pulling it! That helped sum! So I I filled the wheelbarrow for the 3rd time and than got Peaks halter on and tied him to the stall and started cleaning his hooves (which were pretty much perfectly clean, but he needed to be worked on since I've been gone for 2 weeks) He kept moving around every time I went to grab his hoof. He did very good until I got to his last hoof which was in the back! He tried to kick me twice and I would smack his rear and told him know! Finally I stared into his eyes after I told him No and than I tried again and he let me clean his hooves! So I let him go and lugged the 3rd load to the manure pile! This time I turned it around and pulled with all my might the whole way and only got stuck once! Than I went back to the house to up the bucket! when I finally got inside I got a nice glass of water (I was exausted after I got done empting the 1st load of manure) than I unpacked and took a shower before I went to bed later that night!!!!
lol,what a wonderful day back home..huh.. :)
I woke up this morning with my arms very achy! lol,I guess I'm going to have quite a bit of muscle by the end of this winter! ;)
Heres some photos of my wonderful finished stall!
Thank you for listening to my complaints!
Sincerely,
