spanish rose hairstyle diy

 I saw this hairstyle on a christian singer named Moriah Peters  and  as simple looking as it is, I knew I had to try it. It looks best on slender faces. I have a boxy heart shaped face,so it doesn't look to good on me,but I'm sure it will look fantastic on you all. :)

All you need  is;

Styling gel

a Comb

5-6 bobbing pins

Start with wet hair and your comb.

                      Part your hair 3 ways as shown below in the photo.

              
               Take the top half of your hair pull it back and
                              secure with bobbing pins.

      Next carefully pull th top up to make a small bump.

              Take your comb and pour a little bit of gel on it.

Use your comb in the two front sections,use the comb to make the sections smooth.

             
             Pull it tightly back and secure with bobbing pins.

Do the same to the other small front section.

Now flatter your new hairstyle with a flower.

Ta Da

See very simple hairstye, perfect for any event from a small party to a formal event.

christmas bun tutorial and my finished sewing projects...

Okay,so I thought I'ld give you all a little Christmas bun tutorial,which by the way is perfect for curly hair. =)

I'm actually considering wearing this to a dear friends wedding on friday (I'm beyond excited about it by the way.) versus half up.....hmmm...Okay,back to my tutorial.

This hairstyle isn't exactly easy,but it isn't hard,so on the scale of 1-10 it would be 5 on level of difficulty,mainly cause I had a hard time showing through photos how to do,but anyway with no further ado,

"The Christmas Bun"

You'll need:

5 or 6 small little claws and a few bobbing pins.

Hairspray (optional,not recommended for naturally curly or dry hair though)

step 1. Take the front section of  your hair and pin it back,and if your hair isn't naturally curly,Curl It with either a 1/2-1 inch curling iron!!!

step 2:  Take the hair on your right and left side and bring them to meet as you do a half ponytail in the back.

step 3.  take you half pony tail (you can scure it with a clear small elastic band if you like) start to twist as if you'll be twisting average bun ,but then stop and push your curls foreward.

Take 2 of your mini claws and secure you curls in the front.

note: You don't want your hair pulled straight foreward just in front of where you joined your hair together in the back at.

step 4. Take the hair in the back and middle and bring it up to where your 'half ponytail' was and repeat what you did in step 3. =)

step 5. Use a few bobbing pins to secure any loose sagging spots or stray hairs. :)

Take some hairspray for extra security. But if your hair is naturally curly is dry don't use any hairspray it will dry out you hair even more so.

step 6. Add a cute accessory if you like to spruce it up. This darling hairstyle for Christmas.

So this seamstres was very happy to be finally finished with this dress for it was....

uhem....quite challenging,but with some help of an expert (aka my sister) I soon had sewen the last stich.

So I went outside on a wet,slightly windy,but warm day with my finished dress and my only pair of heels dawned on to take some photos.

It has been very wet here, can you tell?! I can't wait for some bright white snow.Oh,and yes in the photo above I'm in barefeet,it was warm enough to stay in barefeet for a few photos,tomorrow its supposed to plumet back to 30...brrrr.....and more rain. :(

But its supposed to snow on Christmas eve! :)

             lol,I thought it was funny the way wind made my dress look like I was wearing a small bustle in the photo above. ;)

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. A Big Thank you to my sister who did some changes to make if fit my body type better.

Another little sewing project that I made with the measurements that are posted @ apple.com to make my friend a ipad case. =)

It didn't turn out how I would of liked,but my dear friend loved it and that is all that really matters.

I used my parents embroidery machine to embroidery an 'M' on the flap,also for a classy look,I ruffled up some silky black fabric and sewed it on under it.

                                                 I also added a front pocket.
 My favorite part of this case,is the fun and funky fabric that is inside,its white and has neon pink and green animals that are kind of like those stiff cut out cookies....lol,I'm not painting a good image am  I?!
 But I didn't take a photo of the inside before I gave it to her as a Christmas gift. :( so sorry about that,but I had some leftover that I'll have to take a photo of for you all cause it really is cute and fun!

I love hairstyles with briads don't you? I love getting the front part of my hair pulled back too.

I usually start french braiding on one side and braid to the back of the other side and make a side ponytail. Which is really cute by the way.

Vintage hairstyle tutorial.....

Everybody loves vintage right? So, I thought I would show you all one of my favorite historical looking hairstyles. :)

You'll need:

•  A Few bobbing pins
• 2 elastic bands
• and decorative hair accsessory (optional,I didn't use one in this tutorial)

Skill level: Medium

Hair type: Any....curly is used in this hair tutorial....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1. Divide your hair into 2 seperate sections.

Step 2. Take one of your sections and twist it back and secure it with one of your elastic bands.

Step 3. Do the same as step 2 just with your other side/other section of hair.

Step 4. take one of your pigtails and cross it over the top of the elastic of your 2nd pigtail.

and hook it under securing with bobbing pins.

You may need to secure with bobbing pins at the top as well.

Step 5. After securing your pigtail around the other,do the same except on the other side and go under instead of above on this one.

Step 6: Got to a vintage party and enjoy! :)

Farm Princess Hairstyle!

 I couldn't wait to do this tutorial for another day I wanted to do it after recieving all of your sweet comments! :) So here I go,but first I want to tell you that,after doing this hairstyle on my sister I relized that this hairstyle works better on thick hair(my sister's is sliky and kind of thin)!! So if you or a sibling have thick and curly hair(or wavy or just plainly thick) this would be perfect!

NOTE:This hairstyle is one that I created,so please use it for your own personal hair,family and friends only, do not use for anything else!

Part your hair as shown above in the photo!

 

Grab your strip (shown in the photo above) by the roots and start twisting it!

AND STEP 4

Grab some hair and add it to your twist above your ear and a little behind your ear,but no more hair after that!
Continue twisting until your reach the back of your hair and fasten it with a clip or bobbin pins (like in the photo above) so you can move on to the other side!

Nnow do the same with your left side! Repeating the steps that you've done on the right side and in the steps above!
Execept when you get to the back your head add it to your other twisted peice of hair and twist them together and fasten quickly with an elastic band!

Then add your fancy clip!
I know the elastic band I used in this tutorial doesn't look very good,but I just grabbed whatever was handy.
If you think your fancy clasp or clip would hold it then don't bother with the elastic band! :)

Hairstyle Tutorial!

I found this tutorial in the " The Girlhood Home Companion." magazine Vol.6 issue 3! Which is a terrific catalog!

You'll need: A fancy or decorative hair peice,a claw and an elastic hair band!Maybe a few hair pins also!Part the hair down the middle! Put one side of the hair up like your doing a pigtail!

Grab the front part of your hair and start to twist slowly adding the rest of your hair!

After you are done twisting one side put the claw on as shown above and then repeat steps on the other side!

Then join both sides together twisting them together! Then secure them with the elastic hair band! Than add your decorative hair piece!

It turned out on my third time doing this hair style(these photos are from the first time) and my sister had wet hair!

The first try doesn't look very good! But after the second try it is easy and looks nicer! At least it did for me!
