50mm,signs of spring,prayer and competition....

 Ah,life when it gets crazy it all hits bam,bam, bam, right in a row. I wish there was a break in between sometimes.

 I'm afraid the rest of this month will be rather quite stressful. I found out my essay was accepted into this beauty school for a competition,meaning I bring my model (my friend Mikaela in this case) and do her hair,makeup and last week we radied her closet to find an outfit,we found one which needs a few small accessories,but we'll get to that later.
I feel like there is so much to do,I need alot of practice too.
I've been 'eyeing' these (below) to go put a little twist to the look.

 I wanna buy them so bad,it would be awesome!

 

 

A few of my sisters goats are getting quite round (expecting some babies.) I want to roll Emily(below) over. I love seeing the baby goats frolic around in the fresh air,that is when I know its spring. =)

I got myself a 50mm 1.8 lens. So happy! I bought a hood too, sadly I ordered them at night and if you know me I don't think clearly at night and I ordered a 50mm hood,but for the 1.4. Darn it! So its to big. I'm just happy to finally own a 50mm.

I never thought I'ld say that cause he was such a pain. Ah,those love and hate relationships....okay,yeah there wasn't much love going on, at least on his part unless him loving making a person so mad they want to shoot you sometimes counts....

 

So in at the beginning of April I'm off to New York City. Yikes!

Okay,I've always wanted to go on a missions trip since I knew about such things and part of our youth group is going to New York to a mission where we'll serve meals,clean and help with the services. In the afternoon we're going site seeing, which should be fun,but let say I DO NOT like the city especially big ones. I went to Chicago for a few days once and I couldn't wait to be home.

I'm a born and breed country girl!!

Yeah,this trip should be fun. I would appreciate any prayers cause after we had a little 'caution' group talk I'm a little nervous now.....okay,I'm alot nervous.

So prayers for our safety,be a light to others,oh,and that I'll survive it all without having a panic attack would be great.

 

So with all that being said there probably won't be much of,  if at all, posting going on until the middle of april,so you all keep cozy and wait for spring.  Thanks for listening reading my 'really' random ramblings. This was probably the post random post ever!

It's a matter of Maturity orModesty!

I thought of this as I stood in line at the library waitning to pick up some books for my mom,and there was 2 teenage guys (that were using 'dude',and 'man' inEVERY sentence)

My guess is that they were about 17 or 18!

And while standing in line a group of 3 girls about the age of 9 or 10 walked past.

I saw one girl had some like black eyeliner,tight top and the guys started talking about it.

They were say how it wasn't right that little girls were dressing like older teenagers and they should just be kids. And they can't believe they have tight shirts for girls too.

One of the guys brought up that they actually have bikinis for young girls.

The other guy said,(quote) Dude,I never want to have a girl.

Guy 2: Yeah,why would you take your daughter swimming 1/2 naked that just isn't right man.

Guy1: Yeah Man, especially in todays world.

Guy 2: I'm going to make my daughter wear a cape or one of those Iraqian things with only eye slits until she's 18!

Now coming from guys... Uhm....Dudes who smelled a little like cigarettes and annoyingly said,dude and man in every sentence, I was a little surprised. Now I know tons of people that would say the same thing,but looking at these guy's I'm pretty sure they weren't christian,and kept up with everything popular it was kind of interesting to see that they had what I would call a good opinion!

Although they weren't talking about older girls it was still encouraging to know that guys in today's world appreciate modesty! lol,I should of asked them what they thought about the way older girls dress in today's world!!

It also got me thinking how/when did our world start selling clothes for girls this young of age and encouraging them to dress immodestly/older!

At our closest Wal-Mart has a Miley Cyrus clothing line (also known as Hannah Montanta) although it's in the teen girls section I know that mostly young girls,pre-teen,and a few teenagers watch and love her T.V show,but I was thinking that's how it got started. Young girls love their favorite older actresses and want to look like them etc... and stores thought,"Oh,Money."

I really feel sorry for girls who wear such outfits and I want to give a lecture to their moms for letting them wear it. (although their moms probably don't know any better themselves)!!

Well, that's just some of my random thoughts for today!

Naughty Bruce

Never leave our electrical fence unpluged this was the 2nd time in a week someone has left it unpluged and I was woken by somone telling me to go get Bruce!

He weighs at least 200 lbs(he probably weighs more) and he likes to play sometimes and he has horns! : / Not a good combination! He can get irritated and try to nudge you(which isn't good since he has horns)!!

But you know what? I like getting him. lol,this may sound funny,but I feel a like a real farmgirl in a way (we don't exactly qualify for a farm in my book,unless you would just want to call us a goat farm which we kind of are a small one)! Forcing a stubborn steer, with horns into barn,wearing my rubber boots with the mud!! Now some of you who own cows make think I'm a little weird,but its just who I am!

I was looking at Bruces horns and was thinking,I don't know why people try to ride those crazy bulls with horns cause you really must be a daring person to WANT to! lol,I kind of went off the main subject,but I'm just posting my thoughts! lol,I hope you enjoyed this random post!

Random post and an idea for a blog contest/blog party!

While I was cleaning,  and my little sister and I were also helping my older sister make tomato sauce. We were  listening to music and singing along at the same time, ( we do this actually whenever we are cleaning  or on the road)! I was thinking about how fun it would be to go to nursing homes and sing hymns for people there etc....! Like the Wissmann and Bontrager families! But  we (my sisters , brothers and I) might hurt the people's ears that we are singing to though.  : ) I'm not the best violinist or singer! But if we were good at music I think that would be, so much fun! By the way, I know this is a totally random post!


Hey, wait I got an idea if I hosted a talent show/blog contest how many of you would enter?? ( I just thought this up as I was typing this post out)...  Here's what we could do, the ones who enter will take a video of themselves playing an instrument, singing or something like that and then I'll link them in a post and put up a poll on my sidebar for you all to vote for the best one!!  What do you all think?? 


I would type out  rules and things you are allowed to do etc.... but that is just what I came up with so far! Please comment if that sounds fun to you and then I'll probably do it if enough of you comment saying you would do it!
