50mm,signs of spring,prayer and competition....

Ah,life when it gets crazy it all hits bam, bam, bam, right in a row. I wish there was a break in between sometimes.

I'm afraid the rest of this month will be rather quite stressful. I found out my essay was accepted into this beauty school for a competition, meaning I bring my model (my friend Mikaela in this case) and do her hair, makeup and last week we radied her closet to find an outfit,we found one which needs a few small accessories, but we'll get to that later.
I feel like there is so much to do,I need alot of practice too.
I've been 'eyeing' these (below) to go put a little twist to the look.
I wanna buy them so bad,it would be awesome!

A few of my sisters goats are getting quite round (expecting some babies.) I want to roll Emily(below) over. I love seeing the baby goats frolic around in the fresh air, that is when I know its spring. =)

I got myself a 50mm 1.8 lens. So happy! I bought a hood too, sadly I ordered them at night and if you know me I don't think clearly at night and I ordered a 50mm hood, but for the 1.4. Darn it! So its to big. I'm just happy to finally own a 50mm.

                                                                       I miss my horsey.
I never thought I'ld say that cause he was such a pain. Ah,those love and hate relationships....okay,yeah there wasn't much love going on, at least on his part unless him loving making a person so mad they want to shoot you sometimes counts....

So in at the beginning of April I'm off to New York City. Yikes!
Okay,I've always wanted to go on a missions trip since I knew about such things and part of our youth group is going to New York to a mission where we'll serve meals, clean and help with the services. In the afternoon we're going site seeing, which should be fun,but let say I DO NOT like the city especially big ones. I went to Chicago for a few days once and I couldn't wait to be home.
I'm a born and breed country girl!!
Yeah, this trip should be fun. I would appreciate any prayers cause after we had a little 'caution' group talk I'm a little nervous now.....okay,I'm alot nervous.
So prayers for our safety,be a light to others,oh,and that I'll survive it all without having a panic attack would be great.

So with all that being said there probably won't be much of,  if at all, posting going on until the middle of april,so you all keep cozy and wait for spring.  Thanks for listening reading my 'really' random ramblings. This was probably the post random post ever!

What are plans for the next couple weeks?
Have you been on a missions trip before? Or to a big city?
What is your favorite part aout spring?

Blonde in the barn......

Okay, okay, I'm a curly burnette....But a blonde is so much more fitting for this story. *insert smiley with a smirk saying,"uh huh."*

So once upon
Once upon a time in a place not so far away...well..that actually depends on where you live because.... You know what,I'll just tell the story.

It all started with the multi-colored goat below... aka Alex,

Alex's pen is sort of connected to the other goats pen,its blocked off by a wall/door,but the door is always a pain to open.
Now since my sister had her appendic's out I've been doing her barn chores. ( she doesn't pay me enough for this job..."Oh,wait she isn't paying me.")
Back to Alex's pen last weekend when I was taking care of my sisters many goats,I was taking out Alex's water bucket,I climbed in by standing on the female goats pen, then climbing into Alex's pen, which is no problem, but when I jumped out (the pen is about 4 ft. or more high) a half eaten mineral block that was hidden by the hay was laying on the floor,so the result of landing on this slated block was a slightly sprained ankle(except it was more my foot that hurt) that only took about 3-4 days to be back to normal today being the first day that it was back to normal.
Now that's not the end of the story the blonde moment is coming,so wait for it.
This morning I was doing the same thing. Up until now I kept watching where I'd land cause of the painful reminder don't you know.  My body was relaxed/care free and I just jumped off...I picture it as someone walking off a building while leisurely reading a newspaper.
And yes, you guessed it the blonde moment,I landed right back on the block.
Except this time it was 5 x's more painful then the last, I managed to hold my foot for a minute until the surprise pain went away I moved the mineral block away (should of done that the first time *blonde*.) quickly finished the chores, and headed to the house, by then I hobbling back,I got some ice on my foot, but I noticed it was swelling... weirdly like the one patch of my foot was swelling more then the rest. After keeping it elevated and iced I now couldn't even walk on it. : / I was really bummed out because Sunday we're going to a graduation party and they have volley ball planned, something that I've been wanting to play for a while. Maybe I can play by just standing there.... probably not,but I can dream right?!
I'll just probably end up sitting down watching the games with my foot/ankle all bandaged up like it is right now.
But hey,it gave me something to post about right. =)

So there you go my most painful blonde moment yet?
