I tried to make the top rise a little,but with the low amount of bobbin pins I had it didn't work out very well! lol, actually this hair style would of worked/looked at lot better if I had more bobbing pins (lol,when you have sisters your bobin pin stash lowers a lot even though their in your hair stuff) :)

For the flower hair accesorie: it's a meduim size yo-yo flower on a clip with colied fabric in the middle,that I made.. In case anyone was wondering.:)

MMM, I don't really have a "holiday hair style". I usually just put a pony-tail in. It's so easy, and simple, why bother with all the fancy stuff. :)
I have the same curly hair as you do... great idea! I think I'll be parting it on the side, leaving the front strands out.. taking the parts behind that and twisting it to the back and pinning up to give it volume (because sometimes curly hair straight back looks way too pulled back :/ urgh.) and then taking the rest and twisting until all the mounds of curls are on the top of my head and then neatly pinning them all together to form a pile of curls on the back of my head and then pulling the left-over in the front neatly pinned and pushing up to give it volume so it doesn't "droop". It's kinda hard to explain.. but that's probably what I'll do. Love this idea that you have and I'll have to try it! Yay for us curly hair people! hugs.
Far from perfect-
I kind of can picture it! It sounds nice! lol,I need to buy some bobbin pins,so I can make this hairstyle look alot better! I just did this for fun/for my blog! I think what I'm doing for Christmas is like a bunch of ringlets (like Shirley Temple) and a fancy clip to keep the hair out of my face! It kind of reminds me of a Amy in Little women!
