I love her hairstyle at this ball! Although Keira Knightly has short hair,so this is a wig,but I really do like it!
Here's my thoughts on how it's done.(after all the photos anyway)
(I do realize there are a few guys that might see this post and you probably won't look at girls hairstyle stuff,but just to warn you the dress in these photos are low cut and other wise immodest!)

After looking at these photos it looks like a lot of pin curls on the back of the head mostly at the top with two tight small braids at the top of the head kind of like a headband. Just at the top of the head and the rest of the 2 braids are hidden by the pin curls. This actress had her short hair slightly curled hanging down on the sides and front!
With lots of little pearls all over to finish it off!
I want to try to do this altough my hair isn't long enough, I think I might try it!
So if I can do it I'll do a tutorial for you all if anyone wants it! :)

I'd love to have a tutorial!! We are going to have a costume party and I have my dress picked out, but my hair doesn't exactly 'fit' with my dress! I might just have it curled slightly..But I'd rather something elaborate, KWIM?
I love that hair style! ... unfortunately I am not the type of person who has patience to do my hair "fancy", but I've made up my mind to someday to try something like that :) So thanks for showing ... I'll have to remember to try that and maybe I'll do that for our ECD coming up ... :)

First off,Pride & Prejudice is one of my favorite movies...
Wow! They did such a great job with her hairstyle that I never guessed that it was a wig. I wonder if she grew her hair out for the movie, because I think I remember it being longer in the interview...I could be wrong though. :)
That would be *wonderful* if you did a tutorial about that hairstyle! :) I go to a ball for homeschoolers that we have annually, and I'd love to try the Elizabeth pearl up-do. :D
