Homeschooling field trips....

I love being homeschooled,I love taking a day off of school on a holiday to go to a few free museums with my siblings.

So yes, this post is a few photos of our monday @ a few museums...

Our first stop, wasn't really a museum, but it was a garden that was like AmAzInG!!! Oh,and VERY warm compared to our 20 degree weather here,it was like 75 at the least in the garden.

(photo credit to my lil' sis.)

That had a display of live caccoons,so you can watch them catch right before your eyes.

My siblings and I.
note: some of the people in this photo, were doing strange expressions and no, I'm not one of them.

WOW!!!!!
Some siblings are missing...

                                                                    hey, there...

Looks, like an ordinary moth doesn't it? But when it flies the inside of its wings are a very pretty blue,I couldn't manage to take a photo of one with its wings open.

Its wings are much like the blue color of the bird shown above.

The flying animals food.

Ouch!!!!

These 2 box turtles were bashing each other  in the head, but before their heads would hit they'ld pull them in. Crazy turtles.....
cute lil' guy.....

"Hey,I'm in this small cage, I can't help it that I don't get excersize."

                                                                    "I'm rich."
....no,my brother didn't actually stick is hand in the water and go fishing for money.

This photo is for my friend Desi, who probably sees these trees all the time. :)

Cool Lizards....

Cockroach's yuck....these are actually hissing cockroach's.
And I only took a photo cause I'm allergic.....Okay,I'm like allergic to everything, but this is one of those things that I never come into contact with and probably never will..... at least while I'm living here.

"Squirrel." I always think of that movie "up" when I see a squirrel.

"hold it up Aaron"

They had these nice old books for sale and inside it read what I photographed. I love history,I wonder what type of life this girl lived,if her husband, brother or father fought in the war, what hardships she faced growing up.

Okay,this wall decor is awesome.

On to the next museum, that had some neat old motorcycles.
The boys checking them out.

Quaint couches.

I LOVE this CAR!!!
You know how cool this would be for photo shoots.

Wish I had this dollhouse growing up. =)

Confederates first flag.....or was it the Union....Man, I can't remember now. :(
I took a quick snap of this fella as we walked by,at first glance I thought Brandon from Sense & Sensibility, then I thought no Wickham....

the civil war Truce flag.....

I love Lincoln,my fav. president.

Old newspaper politics comics.

My brother and I goofing off....I actually don't know what he was staring at,but he was doing it for a while.

our country was so messed up.....now its just messed up in other ways.

nobody talks like that anymore....

Check out the size of this ax.

Madame Abe Lincoln?

And another place we went to......

I had fun antagonizing the cobra with the camera.....

jk,it was actually fake.

I loved Balto growing up....

gotta love the dino's

Well,I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos.

Life has been so busy, from speech and debate//practicing for an orchestra auditions// schoolwork//sewing projects//I'm working on a dress too// and I have a hairstyle I would like to do a tutorial on soon to, as soon as life slows down.//

tip of the week: never go sled riding when it is below 20 degrees, with only 2 pairs of socks and all you have for boots are rubber mud boots.

I hope you all have a lovely week.

Definitely, one of the best things about being homeschooled is being able to take days off and spend time with the family and go on fun field trips! :) Love the pictures, thanks so much for this great post! And I completely agree with Mary, you look very pretty in that outfit, and I love the scarf.
