Yes,Kentucky!! Actually we spent our whole day in Cincinnati, Ohio and slept in Kentucky!
I won tickets to the Homeschooling conference in Ohio along with tickets to see Tim Hawkins!
We didn't find out until later that the Duggars were going to be there, but by then they were sold out of tickets! I still got to see them though (well 3 older girls,Joy Anna, Joshua, his wife and one of the elder boys is really who we saw other then the parents.) when they had Mrs. Duggar doing a talk we just didn't get to see like the whole family, them playing their instruments etc...
People were a little crazy over it,I wanted to ask for an autograph from I think it was Jinger or Jessa!
But I felt stupid doing it,so (don't ask me why,but I am I almost don't get the point of an autograph) I didn't take the opportunity and of course we left the camera in the car! I did take a photo of Joshua's wife Anna with my dads phone, cause I loved the shirt she was wearing!:) Yes,it was plaid. ;)
(For those of you who don't know I rather like plaid)
But any way back to the photos and the rest of the trip!
We left Thursday morning (I actually didn't realize we were leaving so when I was awakened, saying were leaving soon I made a world record on packing the quickest.) and we got back late Sat. night.........Have any of you had to catch a horse or pony at 10:00 at night or any time at night?? Just wondering!
We spent most of our days at the conference, but Sat. morning we went to the creation museum in Kentucky it was conveniently 15-20 minutes away from our hotel! I've been there twice before,so not all of it was new to me! I was sad to hear that they were making their Noah's ark replica 45 minutes away from the museum!
:( They had trouble getting land and even had to go under a different name to buy the land they now own for it,but once again I'm rambling on and on and on and not showing any photos,so here we go!
Grand ball room ceiling photo that I took while a teen session at the conference!
We went here to listen to Tim Hawkins and he jokingly said it looked like a homeschooler did it,"Yeah, this is my little project,I just through some stuff together...."
The line even before you go onto the floor that Tim Hawkins stuff was on,was crowded!
It was a little crazy!! When we were in the middle of those peope at the bottom and everyone going down the stair were taking photos, which I was like okay and decided to turn around when I started going up the stairs and was like"Oh,I guess thats why" and hurried to take a quick photo!
Tim Hawkins!
You could tell he was tired. The beginning he played 1-2 rock and roll songs ,so we naturally covered our ears! It was way to loud for my taste also, but no matter how you plugged your ears you could hear it clearly! :(
On to the Creation Museum photos, we were pressed for time,so we went through it pretty quickly!
A little Dino....
What men in the Bible are these 3???
Do you know? :)
Adam in the garden of eden!
Adam and his family!
Part of the Noah display!
I totally love their diplays my photos are far from doing them justice and there is tons more then what my photos show too, I didn't take many this trip, cause I've taken lots the last 2 times I've been here!
These walls are totally going to be in my future house..minus the weird cows along the bottom!
This would be perfect for the family room!
In the kitchen maybe! :)
Not sure....ah,boys room maybe!
I guess I'll have to figure it out!! :)
A Fossil..
I'm in love with the big blue one in the middle!
"Look no hands."
Ride em' dinogirl! :)
And of course our children group photo!
As you can see I'm the eldest kid in this photo! :)
This is the first time we've taken a trip and I was the eldest child in the van!
Yeah,creepy.
But Jessica had to stay home and bottle feed her baby goats..Oh, did I tell you the day after got back from willliamsburg we had 2 more baby goats born here! :)
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you actually read through this whole entire post you are AWESOME (all letters capitalized)!!!
Have a wonderful Sunday night!
P.S. I hope I didn't ramble to much!
