I had a wonderful time in Williamsburg! Even though the last 2 days I was sick. And I'm still sick..*yuck*....
I was kind of eager to post everything and share it with you all! Yes,the next day is kind of quick, but hey, what can I say it was grand! =)
We left early friday morning and arrived in time to attend the ball that night which was fun! Although I was about ready to die from the heat (yes, I know you all from the same state I am from are wondering why I'm complaining)!!! =) But hey,it was hot! The rest of the weather was kind of cold, but better than 22 degrees!
Don't look down, don't look down......
Just one little peak and....Oh,wow someone hand me the camera please!
A quick group photo before heading to the ball! (this is where my colonial hairstyle helped out,for the ball I mean )
Is everyone in the mood
I guess so!
I love that photo! = )
I was a little unhappy that you had to be 18 to use the workout room, but you only had to be 16 to use the hottub,so that made up for it! :)
Jessica
Me being silly, I was tring to make the slope on the side of my violin look like a smile!
Aaron my brother (hes in the blue)!
Pretty cool huh?!
So part of our retreat was every morning for about 3 days we get up and head to Williamsburg and meet next to one of the churches and this guy (I'll keep his name unknown) and every time he would give us a whole history lesson! Some of the topics were The Great Awakening, Patrick Henry and I can't remember the other titles! But we were very cold standing outside, but on the last day we went inside a building! But anyway that is why there is a small group of people kind of huddled together in the photo above! ;)
Back of the Manor House

I think these 2 dancing photos were the Virginia Reel!!!!
You cannot go to a ball in Virginia without doing the Virginia Reel!
the next 2 days were free days (nothing planned) So we layed around, checked out Williamsburg and of course hung out at the pool!
I was a little unhappy that you had to be 18 to use the workout room, but you only had to be 16 to use the hottub,so that made up for it! :)
I had to take a photo of this cause my sister gave me a birthday card this year that said the same thing!
(they also had a brother one)
At our retreat/place that we were staying and an awesome recreation area besides the pool there was tennis, racket ball (Aaron's friend that he meet here showed us how to play that) and the only 2 things you had to pay for were bikes and putt putt!
Their putt putting deal was pretty good, you pay $10 for the whole family and putt putt for free the rest of the week!

Ethan
There were these beautiful white flowered trees all over the place they were truly beautiful!
On Monday there was a ATGT (all together get together) Where everyone at the retreat for that week gave a introduction and then they had some dancing!
My Daddy and sister Jessica!
Aaron my brother (hes in the blue)!
My brother and I doing the Virginia Reel!

My sisters new friend and herself doing one of the dances!
I'm not sure when we saw these awesome looking army truck, car, tank things, but they were cool,so I took some photos to show you all!
Piety they weren't giving free rides :)
Our speaker!
Gotta love a guy dressed colonial style and has shades! :)
A very friendly squirrel that was running around pretty close to our little group!
I couldn't resist taking this photo of a bored boy who was a little curious about a certain furry animal!
Now here are a bunch of random photos that were taken in williamsburg!
Church
Governors Palace
Samuel taking a little rest!
(I think we all got some muscle from all the walking we did)
Ethan and some Bamboo!!!
A small little fact about me I loooooooove Bamboo, don't ask me why, cause I just do!
We went to Yorktown and saw the battlefield and canons!
But sadly after about 5 minutes I got sick!
I felt cold, weak and really weird along with a fever, sinus headache, stuffy nose and was feeling just plain miserable
The whole place (where you bought tickets and walked around) was actually on the English side !!
If you walked on top of one of the small hills you can see some hills in the distances and tht was the American side!

Ethan smiling on top of a canon!
I just want to share this random fact I learned real quick!
You know in the like Daniel Boone movies and others in that time period where they take their horn filled with gun powder and dump it on thier guns to load them?! Well actually if any one did that they would and every one with in 200 ft would be lucky not to be blown up,cause thats pretty much what would happen!
Okay, done with the randomness! :)
So later that night was the ball and even though I was sick I loaded up on some medicine and went any way!
My sister said I looked really hot (temperature wise),but I was actually kind of cold!
A quick photo I took of myself!
I just did a simple loose ponytail and my hair was kind of wet,so I twisted into one big ringlet!
I love this little boy's outfit! The jacket, hat, pants socks, its all to cute! :)
My Dad and sister dancing!
It was a enjoyable and the weather was cold, but yet a lot warmer then home!!!
I hope this post wasn't to boring and that you enjoyed looking at the photos.
Oh, and tell me what you thought of my dress! I added a small white rose to the sash and I made another one added a clip to it for my hair (you might see it in the first few photos of this post) =)
I hope you will have a wonderful evening and not sick like our household.....
.........but then again I will get some yummy homemade chicken soup.......
P.S. I'm going to do a seperate post with videos of...uhm..our dancing!
