I'm in that mood...

This weekend I've been in the crafty/sewing mood,and I only like doing things that don't take any longer then a day.

So after some thought I figured I'ld make my new camera a pretty strap cover,because I was planning on doing it soon anyway.

After picking out some fabric from my fabric bin,I got started,the results actually made me happy!
I'm rarely happy with the way things end up turning out 'when I sew them',but I actually REALLY like it.

The colors match my blog designs color scheme too. =)

Oh,and I know I need to trim off the thread....

lol,and I seem to forget to trim off the thread when I finish a project,until after Itake photos. ; )

Next was repurposing a shirt that had some.... I think...... they were blech stains on it.....huh...anywho,I saw THIS tutorial a few weeks ago and thought 'I could use that pink shirt upstairs for this',but I kinda liked this shirt and I always put on a cute sweater with it,but today I decied I was going to do it.

So I pinned where I was going to cut.

Cut it.

Cut 3 strips using the leftover (the bottom half of the shirt.)

Ruffled them up.

sewed them on...

Added 3 yo-yo flowers....and I was finished.

It came out very cute and suits me perfectly!

I'm planning on wearing it to my violin recital thats coming up in a few weeks....

I'll have to do a whole outfit post. ;)

Ihate throwing away scraps so Iquickly wrapped the extra around my head as a headband,but I definitely like the shrug better.

My hopefully next project is when stores start having flip-flops on sale,

I want to do either THIS or THIS with them.

I might be doing an engagement photo session next sunday,I'm very excited!

It would be for my brother,but still exciting for me.

IF I do and when I post the photos I would very much like everyones opinon on them. =)

just down the lane......

~~Bribing~~ ....*cough*..... Pardon my french, "getting" my brother to willingly let me do a photo shoot was a big : D cause he dipises doing a photo shoots with him being in 'front' the camera, hey,I try to make it fun,but my brother just doesn't like getting his photo taken and can be picky ,and so can I,but I was so happy he was letting me do a shoot I didn't bother asking him to change out of is 'working in the garage' clothes... *eye roll* oh,well the photos are still pretty neat....at least in my opinon,but I'll let you judge.

These photos WON'T rotate.... on the computer and picnik they are up right,but they won't upload up right...huh?

I think I figured it out,all the photos that needed to be rotated won't upload correctly even after I rotated them on picnik.

Oh,well just cick your head to the side cause I'm not a computer genius AT ALL,meaning my knowledge doesn't go beyond 'upload' and 'select'.

Blisters // Exotic Animals // Carbs

                            The zoo.... That is where I spent almost 90% of today.
       with Toby at my side,I was set......well him,some vitamin water and potato chips.
                                 (Don't worry I'm sure I walked off those chip carbs. ;) )
