Christmas Card tutorial......................

Christmas is on its way and everyone is sending out cards of their Chrsitmas greetings.
I love making my cards for those friends that I send gifts to,and I thought I'ld do a lil' tutorial for you all.

Step 1. Choose your colored paper you'll be using for the tree and some cardstock paper for the card.

Also a pen or whatever you desire to write with,glue and a scissors.

Step 2.Using your cardstock paper, cut the desired size for your card then fold it in half.

(mine was about 4 x 2 1/2 before I folded it.)

Step 3. Cut out several strips of your colored paper the next always slightly shorter then the first.(as shown above.) also a small,but long strip of paper from your cardstock.

Step 4. Glue your strips of colored paper in order on to the cardstock strip of paper.

Step 5. Once you've glued all your strips on and let them dry,cut at an angle from the end of the longest strip of paper up to the top do the same on the other side,making a triangle. As shown above.Note: Make sure your cardstock strip behind your now Christmas tree is shaped into a point like the last strip of colored paper at the top of your tree.

Step 6. Glue you finished tree onto the front of your card.Take your pen and color a stump for your tree as well.

Step 7. Wish a Merry Christmas or whatever you desire inside the card and your finished. :) Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that you know how to do this,you could mess around a bit and even use fabric,use fun patterns(polka dots,stripes,etc...) and colors to match your friends personalities! =)

what I do when I am bored and FAQ.............

Today I am sick of being sick. But today I am happy cause last night I got to go see;

Oh,yes,I was laughing,and trying not to cry,but you can't help it (which crying with a cold isn't very good.)

I'll probably do a review on it soon.But for those of you who have seen it what was your favorite part. (without giving anything away to my other readers who haven't seen it.) Mine probably was when 2 policemen have to guys in the back seat...;).......and the daughter dancing scene. Okay, moving on to what I do when I'm bored......

So yeah,when I'm bored I make myself some blog buttons. 0_o boring in itself really,but I 've been wanting to make myself some new ones. Which of the 2 are your favorite? I do have something exciting to make this post not oh,so boring,I'm going to be getting a sister-in-law! Yup,I am super excited.

Aren't they a lovely couple,even though this photo is horrible.Tip: never take a photo the night of Thanksgiving before someone is on their way out the door. But yeah,I just couldn't get excited and tell you all without a photo.Next year is such along way to wait,to be a bridesmaid once again my 3rd time. YAHOO! I want to make a FAQ page,so if you all have any questions go ahead and ask in a comment below.I'm just going to collect some for a while before I post the page though. Christmas blog party has begun......

Giving gifts,waking up in excitement on Christmas morning...oh,and nice tall glasses of orange juice. =)

2. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
My favorite is the gift exchange,someitme in the summer my sibligns and I plus my brother in-law and sister in -law put our names in a hat and each of us choose a name and on Christmas we give that sibling a present.
This year I got my younger brother,in case any of you wanted to know. ;)

3. What has been your favorite Christmas gift?

I think I was 8,but I got an American girl doll,which I still have.
It was a great surprise cause that year my dad lost his job,so we weren't expecting such a gift at all.

4. Do you have a special Christmas tree ornament?

Oh,christmas angel that we put on top of our tree. We all would take turns each year it was somone different who go to put the angel up. It was so exciting cause when I was younger my dad would lift us up super high to reach the top of the tree.

5. What is your favorite Christmas Carol?

Silent Night and What child is this...

6. If you could be anyone in a Christmas nativity play who would you be?

Mary...when I was younger I was in one and I was an angel...I was a little upset cause my sister got to be Mary,but oh, well.

7. What is your favorite Christmas movie?

Christmas Shoes,and the Nativity Story....I really want to see the Christmas card this year though.

8. Do you go caroling? If so where do you like to go?

Last year we went with our church to the hospital. That was fun! I think eveeryone should do it.

9. What is your favorite Christmas decoration?
Probably the stockings on the fire place or we used to have a tiny old fashioned sled we'ld put up on the fireplace too,but I don't know if we put it up last year come to think of it.

10. The birth of Jesus brought a light into the world. How can you bring some light in the world this Christmas season?
