the high kings dance .......

If you read in between the lines of some of my older poasts you might have found out that I like Irish dancing and music! Altough I cannot do Irish dancing I love to watch it!  A band I found this past year from a fellow blogger,is an Irish band ! I found this video of 1 of them doing Irish dancing ( While the other did a irish drum ,that I cannot remember the name of),so of course I watched it and I liked it and decided to share it! :)Some things were a little weird,but it was still very enjoyable! Tell me what you all think!



This isn't my excat idea of irish dancing it almost looks like it was mixed with tap!
My sister and I thought some of it reminded us of 'happy feet.'

Colonial ball hairstyle tutorial...

We plan on going to a Williamsburg retreat in a few weeks and I thought up how to do a ball hairstyle,by  remembering photos I've seen before! Tell me what you think. It's pretty basic and simple the only thing to keep in mind is you'll be using a curling iron,so make sure you have permission or are under the guidance of an adult/parent!

You'll need about 2-3 of these type of bobbing pins;

In case of hair sticking upin the middle of your bun to push it down!

a handful of these regualr bobbin pins!

A 1 inch curling Iron and of course a brush and if you ant maybe a flower or fancy clip to put in your hair!

Step 1: Comb or brush your (or sisters) hair back and grab half of it leaving some hair down on the side a little to the back!

Step 2:

Twist the hair and create a bun on the side of your head!

I messed with this photo and tried to make it,so you can see it better (I had bad lighting in the bathroom,so sorry about the bad quality of some of these photos)

 
Notice that there is loose hair by her neck you can redo it or if its really loose just pull it out and wrap it around her bun and pin it up as well! So make sure your bun and hair look good and there are no bobbing pins showing! lol,unlike mine!




Step 3:
Make 2 small sections with the hair left. Like shown below!

                                          

And Curl each section!

Step 4:       Take the curl in the front and pin it just under the bun like,so! So that it hangs nicely!

Except for the bobbing pin shouldn't show! for some reason my sisters hair was being extremely difficult and the bobbing pins weren't going in and her hair wouldn't curl,so excuse these poor photos!

Step 5: Enjoy your hairstyle! :)

I would put a flower or something right next to the bun near the edge where you can kind of see the bun in the photo above!

 As you can see (besides the very poorly done curls) instead of redoing her hair I just wrapped her loose strand around the bun and secured it with bobbing pins!

                  :I promise next time the hair will look better and the photo quality will be better or else I won't publish it until I get it right! ;)

An Introduction:

Hmmm...can it be someone from the past? Cause I would go crazy if I could meet Amy Charmicheal (A Missionary to India) or Abraham Lincoln!

I don't really know....I don't think I am.... I'll answer this in 10 or more years! *wink*





What is your comfort food/drink?



Drink probably water or juice I don't really have anything,but unless a special occasion!

Food: Stir fry with lots of soy sauce!

Hmmm... I don't know if I have anything weird or random (that I haven't shared before)....................
I decided to start telling new people I meet that my name is Blythe Spelled with an 'E' cause spelling Blythe with out an 'e' looks awful! Blunt and dull if I may say,so!




What is your greatest fear or strange phobia?


Hmm...another tough question.... I have I guess 3 I'm going to type out.

1. My greatest fear I guess would be dying with out impacting someone elses life or not sharing Gods love!

2. Never being liked or having a true bosom friend as Anne Shirley says!!

3. Ignoring Gods call or misunderstanding something God wants me to do!

Ireland totally,but I've never been there,so I don't know! A lot of Gluten free menus at resturants there though! ;) *bonus*

Marinated in soy sauce and being grilled meat! Also anything dreamy and creamy!

When you leave a social gathering, do you wish: You would have talked more or You would have talked less?

Sometimes talked more,but usually talk less (I'm a regular Chatty Cathy as my mom says)

If money wasn’t a factor, what stores would you shop in?

Hobby Lobby,Joanns, Any good place that sells cameras, and to many more to name! :)


What are your favorite animals?

I am not a huge animal person,but I've always loved horses! And if I could choose somthing wild it would be a Lepord or Tiger!

 

March 1st and my little surprise!

 Today is March 1st wow,time has flown! the surprise is that I woke up and... our back yard decided to be a ice skating rink (Oh,yeah...score...)
We weren't able to go rollerblading Sunday,so I think God was making it up to us in a way!

It's been about 9 years since the last time this has happened! The yard did freeze once a little in between these 9 years,but it was really rough jagged ice pieces sticking up from people walking on it before it was totally frozen! But me and my younger siblings always play hockey! It was extremely slick.

Were probably the only people who use a smashed pop can for a hockey puck and use rubber barn boots instead of Ice skates!!!!

 I love country hockey! ;)

It's nice not rough and the risk of serious injury!

                                                  I was fully decked out in a long sleeve shirt,a sweater,coat, sweat pants and a broom skirt! I ended up taking off my coat and sweater though!

Don't ask me why I am grinning when my brother just hit the puck away from my goal!!

We had a lot of fun! The best recess I've had in a while! :)
