2 Movie Review..

It's thursday and the weekend is coming (AKA movie night) I thought I would do a post on 2 movies I love and watched recently! :)




First off my Favorite!
                                                          
                            " The Newsies"

I totally love this movie!

The time period,the dances, the Accents, pure awesomeness!

I think my favorite characters in this movie is David , Spot (Newesie king of Brooklyn), and the main actor who is played by Christian Hale (who played Laurie in Little Women)

Cons:

There is very little swearing in this movie (only once or twice)

There is one scene with a dance with a show woman thats dressed like in the "western movie  Saloon ladys'  theres 2 scenes with this lady actually!!

I think me and my siblings should learn a dance and song  from this movie!

My Rating:

I would rate it 9.7 out of 10

 (9.7 cause of the 2 imodesty scene and swear words)

"Iron Will"

                                                            Another good movie!
                                               
                                              I would not let little kids under 9 watch



Cause of some violent scenes that might scare little kids that will also might not understand what's happening!
               
 A scene with a man with a knife at someone elses throat and the other guy turns around and points a gun at his head! Nothing brutal happens though!
 
 Another scene where a man's dogs attack him (cause hes really cruel to them) there is no blood shown  just kind of scary for little kids!

            This story is about a 17 yr.old  boy who father drowns (another scene scary for young kids,but not scary too for kids over 9 or 10) and doesn't want to sell his or his fathers sled dogs and wants to enter a sled race for $10,000!

                                          Cons:
                                         A little swearing and thats about it!

     Intense,exciting a great family movie if your younger siblings are over 9 yrs. old!

Life.....

Lets see, we have tons of snow and haven't been able to go anywhere since Sun. (it was bad driving to church),

my siblings are trying to build a snow hill all the way to the roof!

 So they can just climb to the top of the roof and slide down (but we'll see),but it does appear all our extra heavy snow is helping them! ;) I personally think we should make a giant snowman like we did one year that was about 7 ft maybe a tad taller than that.But the snow isn't sticky enough today to make one!
I won a giveaway to a conference 4 hours away which so happen to include tickets to see Tim Hawkins (a comedian too) I'm not a huge fan of Tim Hawkins,but he can be funny.
I am mostly excited about the "World View Teen Track"!! :) But my dad doesn't know if were going yet. (cause you would have to pay 3 days for a hotel.) but I hope we do!

Our computer lost the data on how to reboot/start up,so I'm using my moms laptop!

And I cannot find where somebody put the camera to take any photos!

But when I find the camera I want to show you a cute hairdo I found that's for fancy occasions,if your a bridesmaid in a wedding,or just for fun,or a party!

 I'm going to use it for my 16th birthday(which I might get a nice dress if I can find one at Kohl's,cause I have a gift card for it!!!

I want to try it on somebody besides myself,but my sisters don't want to be models( hmmm ...... birthday guest  )

Boy,what life dishes out! :)

Thank you God for the beautiful snow,which looks so pretty and adds beauty to the world!

Thank you for my siblings ,food and warm house!

Thank you God for you,your Son and all your wonderful blessings that I don't deserve,but love! ;)

Thank you for being there and comforting me when I am sad and when I'm lonely!

 I love you lots you are my King, Savior and my life!

It's simple,but so hard.

(Scripture photowould of been better,but this is the only good one on the computer.)

I've been more and more encouraged to study the Bible daily,not just read a quick passage!

 To memorize more and more! It's a great desire,but days pass by and by,do I accomplish them!

 Not really.

Memorizing and studying your Bible is very important,but it's funny how simple it is and yet we struggle in doing it. But,if God wants you to do something more like help out at a poor house or something for one Sat. you will be excited to do it! Right? Well, I would!

( I was looking for the verse about hiding Gods word in you heart,but I found this one which I thought was good as well!)

Psalms 119:11

"Your word I have hidden in my heart,That I might not sin against You."

Part of my New Year Resolution is Studying Gods word daily and memorizing more scripture!

How often do you study your Bible?

How often do you memorize verses?

(I'm not implying that some of you don't.)

I feel like God is leading me into ministry(missonary stuff),but it wouldn't be very good if I didn't know much about God and what He has to say and I claim it's the most important thing to me!

Or even if I'm not going to go into the ministry,the question about God being the most important thing to me,but not knowing very much cause I don't study the Bible is still there.

I should use every spare moment to learn about Him.

But do I?

I want to encourage and challenge everyone who reads this post,to study and memorize God word like it would be taken from us tomorrow! (boy,that would be a dilemma since I'm used to our house having like 8 Bibles that could always use when I wanted.)
